Japan has officially launched the second funding round of its ambitious ¥15 billion ($94 million) program designed to accelerate the development and construction of zero-emission vessels. The program, administered by the Japan Ship Technology Research Association (JSTRA), began accepting applications on August 21, following an announcement made last Friday, August 22, 2026. Funding for Green Propulsion
