CLdN has placed an order for two new 6,700 lane-metre RoRo vessels with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HD Hyundai HI), signifying a continued expansion of the operator’s fleet and a strategic investment in its core segment.

Construction of the new ships is scheduled to commence in early 2028, with deliveries anticipated in mid-2029. Each vessel will offer a substantial 6,700 lane-metres of capacity.

These latest orders extend CLdN’s long-standing relationship with the South Korean shipbuilder, bringing the total number of vessels ordered from HD Hyundai HI over the past decade to 16. This sustained pattern of newbuilding investment underscores CLdN’s confident outlook for the RoRo market and its commitment to modernizing and growing its operational capabilities through a consistent fleet renewal and expansion program.
