DP World has inaugurated a new 10,000-m² logistics center in Thailand, directly connecting to the strategically important Laem Chabang Port. The Dubai-based port and logistics giant announced the facility’s opening on October 2, 2026, marking a significant expansion of its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
This new capacity addition strengthens Thailand’s role as a key manufacturing hub, enhancing the country’s integrated supply chain capabilities. By linking directly to Laem Chabang, one of Southeast Asia’s busiest container ports, DP World aims to streamline cargo flow and optimize connectivity for exporters and importers.
The investment signals DP World’s intent to deepen its end-to-end logistics offerings, moving beyond traditional port operations to capture greater value within critical manufacturing supply chains. Such integrated facilities are increasingly vital for shippers seeking enhanced efficiency and resilience in their freight movements, potentially making Thailand a more attractive base for regional manufacturing and distribution.
