Venergy Maritime orders 2+2 MR tankers in S. Korea

Venergy Maritime has placed an order for 2+2 50,000 DWT MR product tankers from South Korean shipyard K Shipbuilding.

Each vessel reportedly costs approximately US$48 million, and with the option order, the total value of the four new vessels amounts to US$192 million.

The first two vessels are slated for delivery in the first quarter of 2027.

“With four new-generation tankers now under the Venergy Maritime banner, we are proud to deliver excellence at sea, today and tomorrow,” the company said.
