U.S. ports are significantly upgrading their infrastructure, with two major facilities, Jaxport and the Port of Oakland, enhancing their competitiveness through the addition of advanced ship-to-shore (STS) cranes. Boosting Cargo Handling & Operational Efficiency

At Jaxport, two new 50-gauge STS container cranes are now operational, dramatically expanding capabilities for handling larger vessels and increasing cargo throughput. Designed to reach 19 containers across a ship’s deck and move 33 containers per hour, these powerful machines have a heavy-lift capacity up to 75 long tonnes. The Port of Oakland also received significant new crane components, underscoring a commitment to modernizing port facilities and streamlining maritime logistics.
