The Snowdon Mountain Railway, a prominent UK visitor attraction, has announced a new partnership with Vennersys, a specialist in visitor attraction ticketing and point-of-sale technology. Vennersys will provide its advanced VenposCloud software to the historic 800 mm gauge rack railway, aiming to modernize and integrate its operational systems.
This comprehensive software solution is set to revolutionize various aspects of the railway’s operations. It will facilitate seamless online ticketing with allocated seating and enhance point-of-sale functionality across the ticket office, gift shop, café, and visitor centre. Furthermore, integrated customer relationship management (CRM) tools will enable more personalized visitor communications through detailed segmentation, while also offering improved connectivity to multiple online travel agents and refined stock management capabilities.
The implementation includes Vennersys Insights, a business intelligence reporting feature that will offer the railway clearer oversight of its operations and visitor footfall. This data-driven approach is expected to provide valuable insights for strategic planning and operational efficiency.
