Regional Container Lines orderbook breaches $1bn with raft of newbuildings

Thailand’s Regional Container Lines (RCL) has ordered at least two more 7,000 teu container ships at a total cost of $180.5m.

Delivery is slated for late 2026 and early 2027, according to its interim financial statement.

The first vessel, costing $91m, is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
