Performance Shipping has successfully expanded its modern fleet with the delivery of the M/T P. Marseille, a new LNG-ready tanker. The 114,000 dwt crude oil tanker is already secured on a five-year time charter with Clearlake Shipping Pte, a subsidiary of the global commodities trader Gunvor, demonstrating strong market demand for such capable vessels.

Built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding in China, the M/T P. Marseille is designed with an LNG-ready specification. This crucial feature means the vessel can initially operate on conventional marine fuels but is equipped for future retrofitting to run on liquefied natural gas.
