Giant Norway pension fund bets on tankers and offshore as shipping book swell to $2bn

Norway’s domestic wealth fund boosted its holdings in Frontline and Hafnia during the first half of the year.

The Global Pension Fund Norway now owns 4.9% of Frontline compared with 4.8% at the end of 2023, according to the half-year report.

The Frontline stake was worth $290m at the end of June.
