Fujairah Terminals signs MoU with FFZA to enhance operations and attract investment

This strategic partnership is set to attract further investment and promote sustainable growth within Fujairah’s maritime ecosystem.

Furthermore, the MoU is expected to create a more seamless and efficient environment for shipping lines, logistics providers, and maritime service companies.

It will enable the exchange of statistical data, business forecasts, container movement information and collaboration in events and roadshows.

Fujairah Terminals CEO Mohamed Al Yahyaei said: “Fujairah Terminals is strategically located to serve as the premier gateway to the Indian Subcontinent, African trade lanes, and global markets.

Established in 2017, Fujairah Terminals is a maritime hub on the UAE’s eastern coast serving as a gateway for trade with the Indian Subcontinent, African trade lanes, and global markets.

The facility includes a multi-purpose area for general cargo and Ro-Ro services and has been designed to accommodate larger vessels, enhancing trade connectivity.

“This MoU with Fujairah Terminals, part of AD Ports Group, creates a powerful synergy, enabling us to offer a compelling value proposition to maritime businesses. Together, we can enhance competitiveness, drive economic diversification, and strengthen Fujairah’s global maritime standing.”

Recently, AD Ports Group signed three Heads of Terms with Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard Company to partner on strategic maritime and ports projects.

These agreements focus on joint ventures to manage drydock facilities and shipyards, aiming to boost shipbuilding and drydocking capabilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
