A bulker targeted five times by the Houthis in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday has been identified as the 56,000-dwt SW North Wind I (built 2009).

The ship’s master reported five separate explosions close to the vessel in several attack waves, but the ship was not damaged, according to UK maritime security officials.

The bulker was able to continue its voyage, UK Maritime Trade Operations said.
