DPA inducts Four nos. 100-Ton capacity Harbour Mobile Cranes to Enhance Efficiency and Sustainable cargo handling operations

Procured at the cost of Rs. 205 crores (including operation & maintenance for 5 years), these cranes mark a significant step towards sustainable and efficient port operations. The dual functionality
ensures seamless cargo handling, reduced turnaround times, and optimized energy consumption, contributing to both operational flexibility and environmental sustainability.

This strategic enhancement is part of DPA’s broader efforts to decongest port operations, enhance productivity, and support India’s growing EXIM trade. The newly inducted cranes, just before the start
of new financial year will play a pivotal role in handling a diverse range of cargo, further bolstering DPA’s position as a key driver of port-led industrialization.
