Damen Shipyards Group recently completed a significant delivery, providing three advanced new tugs to the Fairplay Towage Group and Louis Meyer. This crucial fleet expansion includes an RSD Tug 2513, ‘Fairplay-98’, and two ASD Tugs 2312, ‘Fairplay-86’ and ‘Fairplay-87’. These state-of-the-art vessels represent a strategic investment in modernizing maritime operations, enhancing efficiency and sustainable performance for both companies.
Enhancing Maritime Efficiency
The delivery of these Damen tugs underscores a commitment to ongoing fleet renewal and operational excellence within the maritime sector. Transported from Damen’s yards in China and Vietnam aboard the HLV UHL Finesse, the vessels arrived in the Port of Hamburg in pristine condition. This logistical precision ensures the immediate readiness of these high-performance tugboats for their demanding roles, contributing to seamless port operations.
